Halloween day 41

i am not actually working on Halloween but i haven't worn these socks to work yet this year so i thought i would count them.

on my way to my sisters for halloween goodness. i love these stockings, i layered them over white so they would "pop" more. i want to try them over some other colors... i am rethinking my idea about not repeating socks, so many i love and want to wear a bunch. oh well good thing it is my rule and i can change it if i want. on a positive note my socks will all last longer if i don't wear them.

i wore my bicycle socks to celebrate being cleared to ride for the 1st time since 9/12, when i sprained my thumb.

i love how these socks look but i find them annoying to wear. they twist around so the heel isn't in the right spot and they hit me barely above my knee and need sock glue, with all the bending of the knee i had to re-glue one of them 1/2 through the day.

I have had these for a while, I think they are from sock dreams but I am not sure. They are plain black on the front.

spaced dyed thigh highs from sock dreams. very comfy, i needed to sock glue to keep them up but they stayed up all day

i have no idea where i got these socks. i have had them for years & the heel is almost worn through. the shoes are another awesome thrift store find.

i could wait no longer to wear these awesome socks. i like the sparkle blue shoes with them. i was going for a totally normal outfit just with zombie socks. (i also had to wear 1 of 2 pairs of shoes that show the toes bones. off to work. it is friday on thursday woohoo

today i layered purple tights with black crochet (ish) knee highs on top. white tights would have been sooo much better but i don't have any, yet) my boots are doc martins, the flowers are velvety & i found them at the goodwill.

#BeautifulSocks  Okay I have no idea why/when to use a hashtag but i think it is funny. I am not even sure what the point is. I know on twitter it makes it so people can find your post... oh well deep thoughts for a tuesday morning. I was about to wear jeans to work then i remember the supernintendo (aka superintendent) is observing the 1st class I have in the AM. I don't care what he thinks but the teacher I am working with might. i love these socks i have a couple of other colors. they are true thigh highs. happy day.

this picture is not the best or clearest but i only care a little bit.... not enough to find better lighting.  i love these space dyed socks, Sock Dreams, of course. i have them in several colors, knee and thigh high. they stay up great over leggings.

Day 23....

once again i stayed home from work. although i feel no worse today i don't feel better yet.... but wooohooo i have the weekend.

i didn't really do any weeding in the garden i just thought i would wear completely inappropriate work socks :)

Happy October!!! I can't wait for Halloween. I am surprized (i know it is not spelled with a Z but i think it should and this is my blog so i can spell how i like) this morning by how few "Halloween" socks I have. Partly because "everyday is Halloween" (ministry) so I don't think of any socks as strictly Halloweeny. So i should say I am surprized I have so few socks others may think of as Halloweeny. I am feeling a bit zombie like this morning with my first (hopefully this is the worst) cold of the school year.... So I am off to Fake it till I make it! (or make it home)
